Bestcare STA400 Standing Transfer Aid
The Standing Transfer Aid does not include lifting or pivoting action, but instead a rigid transporter for patients that can stand. The patient must be able to stand up on their own. Once standing, you can use this device to transport the patient. In addition, once it is standing, the black pads on the end of the device rotate around the frame and behind the patient to form a seat and prevent the patient from falling backward.
With a weight capacity of 400 lb., the STA400 provides support while also allowing the user to actively participate in the transfer. Caregivers will find that the STA400 will give patients a degree of freedom while maintaining their safety. Swivel seats supports the patient and allows for a a quick and comfortable change from sitting to standing and vice versa. Additional attachment hooks for a support strap are also included. The STA400 comes in two configurations:
